Tax Table Updates for July 2025
On May 27, 2025, the Government of Canada tabled a Notice of Ways and Means Motion with proposed legislation that reduces the lowest Federal income tax rate from 15% to 14% effective July 1, 2025.
The CRA has also published modified Provincial calculations for Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, PEI, and Saskatchewan.
Arctic Data has released the latest tax tables for July 2025 as a complimentary upgrade to those who running the 2025 release of the Payroll (Version 2.33 or greater)
Tax Table Updates for January 2025
Yearly tax tables have been imported to ensure accuracy with all Canadian government regulations.
T4 Reporting – Second Additional CPP Contributions
Box 16A has been added to report Employee secondary CPP contributions

T4 Reporting – Employee Dental Benefits
Box 45 has been added to T4s for reporting employee dental benefits.

Better Tracking for Commission Employees
The system will track commission based on Commission Pay Code.
Bankable Hours
The system will allow you to track hours per employee. When entering in time sheets you can add or subtract hours to a Bankable Pay Code.
New deduction rule: Percentage of Net Pay
This option will deduct a Percentage off the calculated Net Pay for an employee
